The Skibob Association of Great Britain as founded by enthusiasts with the aim of furthering the sport in the UK.
Skibobs of one sort or another have can be traced back to the 1800's but it was not until 1951 that the first race was held. 10 years later the Federation Internationale de Skibob (FISB) was formed. The SAGB word formed in the early 1960's
Since then Ski-bobbing has been developed as an international sport with the same range of championships as normal skiers over similar courses. Speeds well in excess of 100mph have been recorded.

The Skibob Association of Great Britain is affiliated to the Ski Club of Great Britain for 2002/03 which has over 27,500 active members. The Club offers a substantial range of benefits to its members. |
