Historic Skibobs and where to find them - pictures supplied by Henry Wuga - MBE

The photographs were kindly provided by Henry Wuga MBE.  Please see the picture of Henry on the "new" skibob. Henry has been ski-bobbing longer that he cares to remember and is a great ambassador for the sport. In Feb 2004 he plans to skibob on his 80th birthday to raise money for a variety of charities.

Below are Henry's comments on the photographs.
"While in Davos I spoke to the Chairman of the Wintersport Museum. No one knows where they got the Gordon Bob (tandem) from they think it's from Germany, it seems to have a patent number.   He put me on to this chap in Bad Ragaz, I enclose the  pictures from his collection. We also came across a copy of the old postman's bob in the little village of Monstein near Davos.  It stands outside the brewery as a decoration.  The brewery is tiny and has this notice "Highest Brewery in Europe at 6000 feet - last beerstop before heaven".
