The sport of Skibobbing/ Skibiking/ Snowbiking/ veloskiing dates back to a

Being inherently safe because of the low center of gravity, with 4 points of
contact with the snow, skibiking is easy for beginners to enjoy. Imagine
learning to ride a bike with your feet firmly on the ground! Modern Snowbikes have sophisticated active suspension systems that make the ride very gentle on the spine by comparison with the jolts of normal skiing. There is also a great deal less torque on the knees than either skiing or snowboarding. However, the sport has the attraction of being very demanding for those that want to race at the highest level. Skibikes are extremely versatile and are at home in any snow conditions, and if that isn't enough, then head for the snow park! |
